Outreach and Homelessness Prevention
San Francisco Homeless Outreach Team (SFHOT) connects unsheltered San Franciscans with services, medical care, and shelter to help them move off the streets and stabilize their lives. SFHOT utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to serve people living on the streets. To request homeless outreach please call 311.
Homelessness Prevention programs provide financial assistance to individuals and families at imminent risk of becoming homeless to maintain their housing or find suitable alternative housing before becoming homeless.
Homeward Bound reunites homeless individuals living in San Francisco with family and friends willing and able to offer ongoing support to end the cycle of homelessness.
Eviction Prevention provides services that include funds to pay back rent to prevent eviction, one-time rental assistance, security deposit funds to move into permanent housing, legal services, counseling, and other support services.
