The HOC Nominations Committee was launched in August 2023 to support appointments to oversight bodies. The purpose of the Nominations Committee is to identify candidates for the Local Homeless Coordinating Board (LHCB), Shelter Monitoring Committee (SMC) and Shelter Grievance Advisory Committee (SGAC). The Committee makes candidate recommendations to the Commission for confirmation and appointment.

Subcommittee Meetings
The Nominations Committee meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 10am at HSH headquarters located 440 Turk Street, 2nd Floor in the Tenderloin Conference Room.
Members of the public are invited to observe the meeting in-person and will have an opportunity to provide public comment on every action or discussion item. These meetings will also be virtually streamed available to the public on Webex. The public is encouraged to provide public comment via email. Send an email to the Commission Secretary Bridget Badasow at bridget.badasow@sfgov.org by 5:00 p.m. the day before the meeting to ensure your comment is received by the Nomination Committee in advance of the meeting.
