Administrative Analyst – Contracts (position open through: continuous)
The Contracts team Administrative Analyst conducts important, public, analytical work that has substantive impact on the Department’s clients through grants and contracts. A significant portion of the work of the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing is provided through contracts, and the development and administration of these contracts makes a real difference to our clients. This position’s work will include, but is not limited to, participating in a robust procurement schedule, developing, processing and managing contractual agreements and grants; participating in comprehensive process analyses; and communicating clearly at all stages of contract development with multiple stakeholders, from internal program colleagues and leadership to community partner organizations. Behavioral Health Clinician (position open through: continuous)
The Behavioral Health Clinician leads a team of caseworkers working in residential setting with high risk mentally ill and/or substance abusing clients to prevent homelessness and links clients to appropriate outpatient services. The incumbent will provide intensive clinical case management, psychotherapy, crisis intervention and 5150 services, referrals for substance abuse treatment, and psycho education; intake, assessment, service planning and consultation; coordinate closely with property management staff and support service team members to develop successful treatment strategies; provide treatment advocacy and coordination with other agencies, families and clients and provide clinical supervision for paraprofessional caseworkers. Budget Director (position open through: continuous)
The Budget Director reports to the Finance Director. Under general administrative direction, the position directs the budget development and budget management processes for the Department’s $850 million budget of federal, state, and local revenue sources to deliver homeless services and permanent supportive housing. Finance Director (position open through: continuous)
The Finance Director will lead a broad range of financial functions for the Department to create new financial operations for the agency to successfully manage more than $850 million funding. The Finance Director reports to the Deputy Director of Administration and Finance and provides technical and strategic expertise to develop and expand the financial operations of the Department. HSH’s Finance Director is responsible for re-envisioning the fiscal and accounting functions for the Department, including financial reporting, year-end financial statement analytics, and billing for grant reimbursement and work performed by other City Departments. The Finance Director oversees the budget and finance staff in the program responsible for budgeting, financial planning, and accounting functions, including budget development and monitoring; financial analysis, projections, and modeling; accounts payable, interdepartmental work orders, and internal and external audits of the organization. HSH is looking to fill two 2586 Health Worker II positions throughout the organization – Coordinated Entry & The Housing Access Team (HAT). Under supervision, the Health Worker performs a wide variety of paraprofessional duties in a service program for the department; functions as a liaison between community residents and program staff; provides counseling and advice to participants regarding health problems; may supervise Health Worker I; may drive or accompany participants between their homes, hospitals or other social agencies; and performs related duties as required. IS Business Analyst- Principal Agreement Management System Principal Business Analyst (position open through: continuous)
Under the direction of the IT Director, the successful candidate is expected to work closely with our stakeholders, including the HSH’s Contract Manager and Contract team, to ensure all major contracting components are captured including but not limited to functional and non-functional requirements. The ideal candidate will have the support of the HSH IT team in areas relating to IT infrastructure, data warehousing, and data integration. This person will also have the support of our PMO team to ensure successful collection of business requirements, system design, development, implementation, and documentation. It is expected that the Agreement Management System, when implemented, will produce necessary reports and dashboards for our stakeholders. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting IT and Contract leadership in providing interdepartmental coordination, leading organizational change management, and providing ongoing communications with end users. Stationary Engineer (position open through: continuous)
The Stationary Engineer maintains and schedules regular preventive maintenance of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing at HSH facilities. The incumbent works closely with the Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor on managing a budget for building repairs, prices out jobs, maintains expenditure records of repaired systems along with dates of repairs, keeps building maintenance log books, and maintains and updates building profile of managed site as needed. The Stationary Engineer rotates with other engineers during 24 hours on-call months, keeping all parties involved informed with electronically written feedback of calls received. The Stationary Engineer maintains the disaster and emergency preparedness binder and ensures that all equipment remain in good and working condition, documents and communicates to the Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor any potential health and safety issues noticed on site, and performs and documents quarterly checks of fire, and life safety equipment.
