Administrative Analyst – Strategy and External Affairs (position open through: 09/11/2020)
The Strategy and External Affairs (SEA) division of the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing is responsible for managing governmental affairs, community relations and communications. The team also drives strategic planning, implementation, culture development and partnerships. The SEA team works across department divisions and is the external-facing arm of HSH, providing a unique opportunity to learn from and work with colleagues across the department and the City to serve our most vulnerable residents. Data and Performance Analyst (position open through: continuous)
Under general direction of the Data & Performance Lead, the Administrative Analyst performs and conducts difficult and detailed professional-level analytical work to support the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing planning activities and program operations. The position supports program operations with data analyses and program evaluation, as well as conducts key research and strategic planning projects. This position will report directly to the Data and Performance Principal Analyst. Principal Contract Compliance Analyst (position open through: continuous)
Under general supervision of the Contracts Manager, the Principal Administrative Analyst will create a compliance infrastructure for the Department to ensure adherence with funding requirements, as well as a maximization of funding use. A significant portion of the work of the Department is provided through grants and contracts, funded through myriad of funding sources. The Principle Administrative Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing/managing documentation for internal and external use to ensure funding compliance for state, federal and local funding sources, including required uses, data collection, reporting, and documentation. This position’s work will include, but is not limited to, serving as the subject matter expert on the Department’s funding sources; creating and maintaining infrastructure around funding sources to ensure successful implementation; coordinating with partners and stakeholders to ensure funding source requirements are met; managing a portfolio of agreements. Shelters & Navigation Centers Manager (position open through: continuous)
The Shelters and Navigation Centers Manager (“Manager”) reports to the Director of Temporary Shelter and Outreach and will oversee the operations of the adult emergency shelter system, including resource centers and the navigation center program. The Manager will work with City agencies and programs to facilitate Coordinated Entry intake into navigation centers, track program progress, and oversee the redesign of the adult shelter system. The Manager will serve as the key point of coordination between the homeless outreach teams/encampment response team and HSH’s adult shelter system and navigation centers. The Manager will have significant and comprehensive oversight that includes fiscal monitoring, program compliance, and assisting and supporting subcontractors and city partners. Supervising Contract Analyst (position open through: continuous)
Under general supervision of the Contracts Manager, the Supervising Contract Analyst organizes, supervises, and conducts important, high profile, complex, and sensitive analytical work that has a substantive impact on the Department’s clients through the administration of grants and contracts. This work includes, but is not limited to, managing a portfolio of agreements, conducting difficult and comprehensive process and spending analysis, and communicating clearly in all stages of agreement development with multiple stakeholders, while working to continually improve the agreement processing for efficiency, clarity, accuracy, compliance and consistency.
