Budget Director (position open through: continuous)
The Budget Director reports to the Finance Director. Under general administrative direction, the position directs the budget development and budget management processes for the Department’s $850 million budget of federal, state, and local revenue sources to deliver homeless services and permanent supportive housing. Director of Coordinated Entry and Problem Solving (position open through: October 19, 2021)
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Programs, the Director of Coordinated Entry and Problem Solving is responsible for leading and directing complex policies, programs, funding, and services to reduce the prevalence of homelessness. This individual is expected to lead a redesign of the Coordinated Entry System as well as implementation and ongoing management of the Coordinated Entry System in support of the San Francisco Continuum of Care. This position will also be responsible for completing reports and conducting system evaluation, Developing, documenting and implementing policies and standardized protocols and assessment tools, and for working with community providers, advocates and those experiencing homelessness to ensure our delivery system is responsive to client needs and aligned to established priorities. ONE System Project Leader (position open through: continuous)
This highly motivated and team-oriented person will lead the Department’s Online Navigation and Entry (ONE) System Project Management team and bring expertise implementing successful IT systems within government for internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability present before the ESC, CBO partners and other stakeholders. Real Estate Development Analyst (position open through: October 25, 2021)
The Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH) is recruiting an 1824 Principal Administrative Analyst – Real Estate Development Analyst to support the acquisition and opening of between 800 and 1,000 units of new permanent supportive housing for people experiencing homelessness in the next two years. HSH budget includes approximately $400 million for housing acquisition and rehabilitation of new housing and the opportunity to leverage additional state funds to expand housing opportunities for people experiencing homelessness. The real estate development analyst will plan, analyze and oversee complex work involving significant accountability and decision-making responsibility for HSH’s housing expansion. Stationary Engineer (position open through: continuous)
Under general supervision, the Stationary Engineer maintains and schedules regular preventive maintenance of building systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing at HSH facilities.
