On August 16th HUD released the CoC Program Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).  For those who are interested, the HUD website contains a brief overview and a link to the announcement.

Bidders’ Conference

The 2021 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) has been released. There will be a Bidders Conference (a technical assistance meeting to learn about how to apply for funding) on September 3, 2021 from 10am-12pm. The meeting will be held on Zoom, a meeting platform that can be accessed through an application, website, or phone.

Applicants who have never applied for CoC funding are highly encouraged to attend the Bidders Conference and apply for available bonus funding.

This year’s NOFO has also placed great emphasis on getting new applicants that can help improve racial equity, include the voices of persons with lived experience, leverage funding for housing outside of this source, and partner with healthcare organizations.

Tribes and Tribally Designated Housing Entities are also eligible to apply this year and are encouraged to do so.
